Current price is $19.05 for a set of 8, ie a spare set inc. The SB 9 is identical to the Boxford for apron details. the guy (Stevewb) is an excellent seller and well known in the US. His Southbend Resto book is very useful.

1160 forum posts 73 photos | For Pete - or anyone else - the wiper holders on my Boxford look like this... Pardon my drawing skills, but you'll need 4 of them in total, two are mirror images of the one shown. The angle that fits over the V bed is, according to my protractor, slightly less than 90 degrees, which surprised me, but I don't think any of the measurements are critical. Or even the shape for that matter. The felt would be 4mm nominal thickness these days. I'm thinking of adding a bit of neoprene sheet, as well, we'll see how it goes. Hope this helps. Ian, I've saved that shop for future reference, it does appear to be the correct stuff to use, and your idea of using neoprene to stop swarf sticking to the felt is something I will probably copy. Thanks for the drawing cowboy, looks quite simple, I really need to get up to speed with 3d printing, there's a free filing sharing site for it, someone on yt uploaded a free file to print wiper holders, for a mini lathe, I'm sure others will be on there. |

1160 forum posts 73 photos | Just to resurrect my thread, I have found another source of what looks like just the stuff - Boots Self-Adhesive Thick Padding (Provides relief for Corns, Calluses and Bunions). Less than a fiver for a piece about 220mm by 100mm and 7mm thick, the self adhesive layer is fairly easily split off. Rob |

25 forum posts 11 photos | I tried the thick hard felt you can get from b&q to stick on the bottom of furniture. I laser cut to shape very nicely but after a few days the oil I was hoping to retain turned the self adhesive backing to mush and they came off. Need to make a screw on metal retaining plate next time. |
