A good toolpost drill design

681 forum posts 260 photos	This is one I put together several years ago for a certain job. I don't think I've ever used it since then. The spindle, chuck and flexible drive came as a complete assembly, but I can't remember where I got it from. All I had to do was make the brackets to hold it in the tool post. It was driven with a portable electric drill held in a bench vice.

2947 forum posts 468 photos	Made something similar for my lathe last year... Boring out pilot hole, drilled from chuck to establish centre height... Checking set up for squareness... George.
