Yes, I remember Bako, had hours of fun with that but it was indeed limited to house type structures. Whilst on the subject anyone remember Brickplayer? Clay based bricks and mortar from wallpaper paste, my mother used to despair at the mess I used to make with it. I've still got the bricks from it and I still haven't come up with a good use for them. Sorry, I seem to have taken this even further of thread. Phil |

Does anyone remember MiniBrix? Rubber versions of the original Lego pieces and preceded Lego. Dave Knew someone with the rubber bricks but only played with it once. Came in a big tube as I recall. The Bako wires are deliberately not standard wire gauge, about 73thou I think so you had to buy from them. There is often someone at the St Albans MES show on 29/30 Sept this year who builds very large Bako models. Edited By Bazyle on 08/08/2018 13:16:08 |

![]() 5 forum posts | Yes, I remember Minibrix - when I was quite small my neighbour Nigel (my hero - his Dad worked for the LNER at Doncaster!) had a set. I had a Bayko set, which I still have. I also had a Brickplayer set at one point - and a lot of fun mixing up the paste - although flour worked quite well too. To get the building apart again you put it in a large bowl of warm water. |

14 forum posts | Thought this might be of interest to people. Lego released this model of a Ferguson tractor just a couple of months ago. This was a special edition model and limited to just 80 copies produced. I love the vintage style packaging on this. If ever my Traction Engine was produced then I would love the artwork to be designed in this style. |
