Stamping numbers

How to get stamped numbers neat

Yes, somewhat similar to riding a bike over a pothole I have found. That unimportant piece of information now brings my post count to 100... Does that make me a centurion, a centenarian or possibly a centipede?

20141005_152457.jpgThis worked well for me Claus.

It's only a small dial but all that was necessary was positioning the engraved line in the middle of the two guides.

You also need soft jaws and a soft base in the vice to protect the dial.

I have set punches in the drill press and used that to stamp numbers and letters.
