Thread: New Scam Amazon |
04/02/2021 17:53:36 |
I became so angry at them last week after being harassed now for several weeks by the same caller/number claiming I registered at “Lux Investment” and wanting further details from me that I named them everything I could think of in my not so good English. That made them angry and threatened to sue, to which I replied that I am waiting for it. After that almost continues calling from first a English 0044 number, after blocking that it changed to Italian 0039 and then to Polish 0048. The result is that I now have blocked all incoming international 00 numbers, hopefully they will now give up and normality can return in the near future. Niko. |

It is just possible to fit the large 72 tooth gear of the quick change gearbox on a clutch, it prevents damage if a crash happens. Niko. |

Thread: Not such a Dodgy Lathe on Ebay |
22/07/2020 21:52:30 |
It is not difficult to find items on Ebay which have been "sold" but are offered again by the same seller. How they do it without paying sellers fee (Ebay & Paypal is around 15% together) is a question for me. Niko. Edited By speelwerk on 22/07/2020 21:54:28 |

Very ingeious. Your own version of taper lock. Neat. Thanks! I should have made the taper a little less steep, 2 instead of 3deg. Niko. |

Over the weekend I made an attempt to improve the pulley fitting by making a conical plug pushed in by a M6 screw in the motor shaft. It gave not the improvement I hoped for but a wobble of around 0.10 mm is good enough for me. Niko. |
