I am sorry to hear that, overall we get very good feedback on this caliper, especially given its price point given its accuracy and repeatability. If you wanted to try the M-SURE caliper I would be happy to do a collection on it if you was not happy with it, we are really pleased with what we have achieved with this caliper 😊

100% correct – we are considering launching a left handed M-SURE caliper, but mould tool costs alone are over 20k GBP then higher unit costs as production runs are far smaller.

Hi Gary - in reply to your original post regarding your M&W caliper, this sounds to be the result of the rubber seal cover not being put back after the battery has been changed, it is needed both to maintain the IP54 rating and to apply small amount of pressure on the battery for it to make reliable contact - worth checking 😊

"It frequently reset it's zero indication to 5.08, so I complained and got it replaced. I didn't particularly like it because it switched itself off too soon when idle, and continued to reset it's zero to 5.08 every now and again, but I persevered, until a couple of weeks ago, when It just went haywire. I've replaced the battery to no avail. It's useless. A great disappointment with a previously respected make."

Afternoon all,

A friend of ours is selling 6 off EMCO CNC ET120 machines to make way for new production line going into service soon, if you have interest in one of these machines then please email me on the address below and I will send over details.

Hi All,

Is there any MAC users of draftsight here?

We mainly use DraftSight on PC, but our Graphics team run on MAC's the menu layout is very different between the systems and interested to find out if this can be changed so both platforms are the same

Thank you for buying one of our systems, you mentioned you purchased the system around 2 years ago, A lot has changed in that time we have invested in multiple Alu extrusion tool's over the last couple of years and continually adding to our hardware selection to try and cater for as many different machines as possible.

Good morning,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Heidenhain DRO system

We can supply an adaptor with the round 9 pin connector, that will convert signal from the M-DRO optical or magnetic encoders to be compatible with the Heidenhain consoles. Please note this is not compatible with all Heidenhain encoders so we would need some further details from you.
