If the old reamer cuts under size use an hss tool bit you can bump up the reamer by running the tool bit on the front of the cutting edge bump it up

To use plain cutters in an Autolock Slice the end of a old cutter and make what we called a dummy centre

Thread: using milling cutters

If you have any old threaded 12mm cutters slice the end off and use it as a dummy centre in the cutter holder put  plain cutter in and it will tighten up

I have no need support I have now draw bar as all my holders I have made screw on . Using this gismo As you can see its held on with that long screw into the insert that fits into the drift slot. You can have a look at my album  No Draw bar just click on photo at the side parts

My mandrel handle is sprung loaded like a milling machine handle if youMandrel handle let go it pops out . for safety . as its heavy it stays in place when my Myford S7 is running

You may be right White Waltham Maidenhead is not far from Henley . As you may know this was the HQ for
ATA Air Transport Auxiliary during the war . My son works in the engineering section West London Airo Club WLAC.

The tools too wide for parting off . I think its just facing or maybe form a part then part off ?
