Think of climbing onto youe roof, from a solar panel installation site.I think this sums it up, be careful.
Important disclaimer
It is possible to hurt your self. You can cut, burn, choke, poison, or scald yourself messing about with this. You could also fall from the roof or fall down the ladder with a cable around your neck on to a wooden stake. You could electrocute your self ( with power tools ). Blow lamps can explode and solder flux can give you dermatitis. You could get tetanus or blood poisoning from a splinter or paper cut. You could have an accident on the way to B&Q in the car. So if you follow these instructions its at your own risk. Wear goggles, steel toe cap boots, thick leather gloves, a face mask and hard hat at all times. Use an RCD and proper scaffolding . Never work outside in a thunder storm. Anything you do is your own fault, it's not my fault. I am not your mum. Good Luck see you in the next life.

I went to have a look at a coronet minor 'ten in one' offered for sale a few years ago, on arrival I was told that it had been purchased new but because of ill health never used, situated in a garage it was covered with blankets, carpets and polyethene sheet, quite a load to remove, despite it having been oiled the owner looked quite shaken when eventually all the 'protection had been removed, the machine was covered in a thick layer of fine red rust. The chrome on the lathe 'way' was gone and it was badly corroded as was the alloy parts.
Living in the highlands not far from the sea I have to deal with a salt laden atmosphere which at times leaves a coating of salt on our windows, this means that prevention of rust is a continual battle.
Plenty of ventilation in my wooden workshop/shed along with loose bubble wrap sheets and a light coating of wd40, or if I've spent all my pocket money, an oil and petrol combination seems to do the trick, mind you the price of those is comparable to that of the wd40 when I come to think of it.

Couldn't get it to print as Adobe PDF in win 7 64 bit, Internet Explorer 9, 32 bit. But after going to Adobe's website I found you can down load a 64 Bit flash player,
flashplayer10_2_p3_64bit_activex_111710.exe
Starting IE9 64 bit I was then able to download the digital copy as a PDF, all I can say is its terrific, clear and I can zoom in and read it without me specs.
Adobe has had problems with its 32 bit player on 64 bit sytems.
Hope this helps.

Try  http://www.wheelcourier.com/ they were very good at delivering a set of alloy wheels+tyres from Ripon to the Fort William, cost less that £40 and took under 2 days, for this part of  wilderness Britian  that was remarkable.
I looked at the Armadeal mill, £412, but they quoted £100 delivery to Fort William, wheelcouriers was less than half that.(still pondering though).
I recently sold a surround for the clocks off a yamaha motorcycle for £20, postage was quoted 4.50, that was until the chap who wanted it sent me the £20, I then discovered he's address turned out to be in Dublin. It weighed less than 1.5kg packed, but I was quoted from £96 down to £38 plus £32 for picking it up from here in Lochaber.
Another internet search found the following,

These did it for £25, so it pays to shop around.

Thread: Dos in windows 7

The programs on the web site that I posted  "Marv Klotz's Utilities" require that they are run under DOS. Windows 7 no longer supports the running of such programs but there is a small program on http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1 that gives you a dos emulator that then allows these to be run.

Some very nostalgic film clips for those steam enthusiasts
Quote from one of their clips

Time Out | The Four Steamers

"This beautifully filmed item follows the journeys of four privately owned steam trains and speaks to their proud owners about how and why they acquired these prized possessions. The camera follows the 4555 Great Western tank engine and the Great Marquess 3442 as they travel through some of the most spectacular scenery in England and Wales. We also see the Flying Scotsman, bought for £3,000 by Alan Pegler, steam into Marylebone station, and the oldest locomotive in private hands, the J52, a Great Northern tank engine."

Enjoy
