Thread: Winding electrical coils |

Ideally you need a coil winder, cos the wire goes through a series of tension rollers (Similar in operation to a sewing machine thread feed) and it is then fed by the forward and reverse mechanism similar to a lathe leadscrew laying onto the former. (Don't arsk).

My question to Model Engineering department is as they appear to be same company as Model Boats (No doubt I will be corrected if wrong) why does the model boat site still have the flexipage reader for their digital archives which gives you the better quality print. " Because they haven't got round to changing the Muddle Boat site yet TomK

You could also run a "Pressurised system Jens Eirik, A 5v or 12v CPU (Computer) fan to suck IN cool air and let it vent through the doors/windows/vents. If you try to use it to extract, it would probably melt the fan or dry the bearings in it out.

Mill a couple of round ended pockets into the sides of the larger diameter of the arbour and let in a couple of pegs retained with C/S allen screws. Similar effect to JasonBs post but the drive is on a flat surface.
