HI all looking for help

I finally decided on my new milling machine its a waro gh universal square column. My problem is that i am not sure where to put the straps of the engine hoist. Also i am not sure if i have enough room for a hoist to fit in my shed.If i need to dismantle the mill is it straight forward taking the head off.Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated

HI Guy`s

I have been looking at the Warco wm16 or the wm18 mill they seem a good mill for a beginner. The other day i saw a picture of a Boxford vm30 i really liked the look of these big old solid cast iron lumps the only problem is that they cant be found in Ireland.I have seen a couple on E-bay but don`t have a clue on how i would get it over to me in Ireland.does any one know of a way or would i be better off sticking with my first choice

Thanks Jimmy

Thread: Hello from Ireland

I have read a few comments about the wm16 mill and how the hi low gear can give trouble

I see Warco do a wm16B for £250 more.its belt drive and has a brushless motor would you think this would be a better purchase

i was given a 5" swivel base vice is this to big or should I get a 4" vice.
