If a masterclass in presenters/news interviewers interrupting and talking through people is needed you only need look at news channels, eg. BBC / Sky News etc, ask a question and 10 seconds interrupt with another one deeply rude Mick |

Watched an interesting programme on Channel 4 last night about the refurbishing of BB, its worth a look folks on catch-up. The clock mechanism is really impresive, hope there are going to be further episodes, mind you the cost has risen from 29 million to 61 million and they have only just started but still worth it I think Mick  |

As a qualified fire equipment service engineer in a previous life my personal preference is for Co2 and AFFF ( acquiesant film forming foam) they will cover any fire you are likely to have in the home or workshop, never liked powder myself,if let off accidently or on a small fire it reduces visibilty, is not good for the lungs and will get into and ruin computers etc, this is my own opinion Regards Mick |

Thanks to all who took the trouble to post advice, I think the answer for me is the insulation one, I take the point about de humidifing the whole of the UK, I have tried draughtproofing the garage with limited success and none of my workshops are heated, my lathe and millers are in the house just a shaper in garage so as I say insulation is for me Thanks Mick |

I don't use any social media, no online banking, use a debit card don't have a credit card, no loans and yet I am still amazed the information that seems to be stolen by various bodies. People are selling my information to third parties, I generated this info it's mine if they want to sell it ask me first and pay me if I say yes. The only good news is trying to access the government gateway for a tax question apparently I don't exist ( my tax still gets took)one page said it was checking my credit reference then told me couldn't verify my identity and didn't allow me in, I have been using this gateway for some years okay to submit my self assessment forms, who knows what goes on !!!!! Grrr Mick |

My garage is around 18'x8' it has a corrugated roof panels bit like the asbestos type but I don't think it is asbestos, I do get condensate on it in the cold weather but I don't know which is the best solution to this, I am leaning towards a dehumidifier, what size I am not sure, any advice would be welcome,is insulation a better alternative if so what type is best Mick  Mick  |
