Thread: Tom Senior belts
29/01/2016 17:53:41

I would be grateful if any Tom Senior m1 owners would let know the specs for the motor drive belt. My own is very rough and i cannot see any information on it. I would say it is about 58 inches long on the inside and i am not sure if it is Z or A section. I hope someone can help me out .

Hello,I would be grateful for advice on my recent purchase of a Tom Senior M1 milling machine. I would like to use my er 25 collets in a suitable mt 2 chuck. Are they okay for milling ?. At the moment it is fitted with a Clarkson autolock which is seized due to not being used for 2 years and am thinking about removing it .Many thanks in advance for any replies.

cheers.

Hello, I would be grateful for any advice you can give me on a slipping clutch on an early super 7 sk1453.I find that i am constantly adjusting it only to find it slips within a few minutes.I decided to strip it down and to be honest everything looked okay. The countershaft looked in good condition and the expanding iron shoe work but the adjuster had very slight wear.So i9 am at a loss to see the problem.the bearing are noisy and i would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction to purchase them.would it be more sensible to fit the later type clutch if it can be done.Any advice is most welcome.

Many Thanks. John
