boiling water did the job fine, replaced all 8 bearings to make sure. was going to sell it to recoup the cost but after what john posted i will keep the box as a spare.

hi folks, is it ok to place these bearings in boiling water in order to fit them on to the shafts. have had to replace the gearbox on my vauxhall vivaro van at 23,000 miles and am now recon the old one .

hello, i"m gary shepherd my main interest was restoring/riding british and italian motorcycles, i now own the late great joey dunlops 1968 aermacchi. i have a harrison m250, boxford mill,bandsaw,pillar drill i also have a sentinel 58 universal milling machine which i would love to find out how old it is. i have built the r&b,stuart beam engine and a few others, currently building the snow engine but have lost interest in it for some reason. i am a slater/roughcaster by trade.i live in peterhead aberdeenshire. my computer skills are very limited.

neil, i think you are missing the point of the complaints completely, members are not so much complaining what the threads are about but when there favourite thread like bodgerslodge goes off topic, and you are one off the worst offenders, it is your right to reply to all posts [if you feel the need } but please keep on thread i also agree with julian.

hi carl, the change wheels are as follows standard set = 22 40 44 80 88 92 the optional set = 21 24 28 30 35 42 45 48 49 55 56 60 63 66 70 72 76 78 81 84 98 99 100 hope this helps

the vm30 uses bp energrease f600-ep a thick messy goo the vertical box uses molybdenum grease hope this helps I got mine off ebay
