287 forum posts 6 photos | Got an unidentifiable taper on a 1990's machine tool spindle, the largest diameter is 1.25 inch, taper is 7/24, so you'd expect it to be a 30 taper and the drive dogs on an ISO 30 toolholder certainly match the spindle nose. But the overall length of the taper in the spindle is around 1.25 inches not 1.9 inches. Can't see any matches here or here
Any idea what taper I've got?
