.

I was at an old friend of mines workshop this morning. So I shot a bit of video of it (on iphone so poor quality) as I thought it 'might' be of some interest to some of the sites members to have a nosey.

Nick, thats not too bad from some I have been in and seen! There is one near where I work and the walls are just a mass of metal bars etc stacked up or leaning against the walls. Ask for something and he goes straight to it!

All his drill beds and machine beds are all pockmarked with drill holes but his work is great. He also makes prop shafts in stainless steel for a boat yard. Builds up damaged bronze props and profiles them again.

I love poking about in workshops. The only thing missing from this experience is that special smell you get in proper workshops but I can imagine that easily enough!

Thx for posting.
