![]() 23121 forum posts 1360 photos | Could someone please let me have photographs and/or drawings of the headstock-end of an ML 10 bed, with the headstock [etc] removed. I am interested to see the size & shape of the bed, and any machined faces that may be present on that end. Many Thanks MichaelG. |

![]() 267 forum posts | I have an ML10. The bed is the same shape throughout it's length. Ground on the top and the dovetail section which are at 60 deg to the bed. I am not prepared to remove the headstock to take a photo ( don't expect anyone else would either) |

![]() 23121 forum posts 1360 photos | Thanks chaps, I wasn't expecting anyone to dismantle their lathe especially to help me !! ... but I did hope that, in this community, someone might have restored an ML 10 and documented their progress. Just in case someone can help me; let me clarify: I am aware that the bed has a continuous, uniform, dovetail ... that is why I am interested. What I was hoping to see was the detail at the end of the bed [i.e. the perpendicular bit] which is normally concealed by the change-wheels. MichaelG. |
