113 forum posts 2 photos | Hi My milling machine has seen better days and would like to get a new one. I was wondering if the bigger suppliers ie warco chester etc do a installation service where they install the machine for you the reason I ask this being disabled it would be a very difficult thing to do myself Just wondering if anyone has had this service I live in southeast London Thanks Best Wishes Martin

91 forum posts 6 photos | Hi Martin, I am in a similar position as you and have written on at least two occasions to Warco in regards to their service as advertised in their catalogue, and after two months am still waiting for a reply. Next month I shall visit their premises for a final check on the VMC turret mill with R8 spindle and obtain pricing to include DRO's and power feed to the x axis, and this all to include delivery and installation in the workshop. As soon as I get a reply I shall let you know, and hopefully vice versa. I am only aware of the installation service from Warco and I am not sure if Chester or Toolco offer such a service. Best regards,
Mike |

113 forum posts 2 photos | I had a email from warco and they said they could deliver the machine complete as long as the access was easy which it is its a garage on the side of the house with a drive and it would be a special delivery for 180 + vat which I thought was resonable Best Wishes Martin Edited By Martin Walsh 1 on 15/04/2014 19:16:29 Edited By Martin Walsh 1 on 15/04/2014 19:18:11 |

74 forum posts 19 photos | I bought a VMC from Warco and asked them to install it in an interior room of my house. Access to this room was only just possible, involving making a ramp up to the front door, skirting around the bottom of the stairs and then in through an interior door. Because of the narrowness ot the door the table had previously been removed. This had all been planned for and I had had to wait for the availability of a mechanic to remove the table and then refit it once the mill was in its final resting place. It all went fairly smoothly and before leaving the mechanic checked that everything was in order following his refitting of the table. Satisfied customer. |

84 forum posts | I bought my Boxford CUD from Home And Workshop Machinery in Sidcup, Kent. They delivered and positioned it for £50. It was an easy job, straight into into my integral garage/workshop. I cleared the space and they did the rest. The chap that delivered it was very polite and we then proceeded to talk about motorbikes for an hour over a cupper. They only sell 2nd hand machines but I can recommend them for sure. John |
