73 forum posts | I was quite intrigued to come across this website http://www.boggstool.com/ Prior to reading their technical explanations, I had been under the impression that the only way to sharpen files was by dipping them in acid ( with variable results). I am aware that for bog standard metal files designed for filing steel, it may well not be economical to have them sharpened, but for owners of high end rasps made for carving, I can see the attraction. My question is, is there any firm in the UK who offers a similar service ... or do Boggs have the world wide monopoly ? Edited By murrmac on 07/01/2014 00:32:40 |

142 forum posts | intriguing indeed... at less than $2 per file, i would reckon it would be worth sharpening just about any old file!. ALthough i suspect with shipping from Oz, the economics could change pretty quick! -russ from Oz
