how to make them quiet.

4 forum posts | Is there anyone who experiments with making poker type gas burners please ? I have made many successful burners which take in secondary air, but every poker type I make will run silently most of the time and then whistles loudly. Changing the number of slots in the burner, or gas jet position, or size of air holes does not seem to make much difference, even pointing the slots along the burner tube is not really much use as a long term cure. Any offers of a "magic bullet" please ? |
