My latest model

![]() 4318 forum posts 291 photos 1 articles | It takes most people 5-10 years to make a model of a roller, but I have found a way to reduce this to a couple of weeks. Just choose the right roller! This Ransomes Sims & Jefferies Automaton Roller seems to be pretty rare. There is one photo I found on the web which is a non-water ballast version, which inspired me to use red paint. The original was spotted outside the former Cape Hill Brewery cricket pavilion, sadly without a handle and rather battered (roller and pavilion). Hopefully the two will be restored to former glory as the Warwickshire second X1 are taking on the site. Neil
