colchester bantam

i have purchest a colchester bantam mk1 it only has one lever with 2 posisions on the so called gearbox it dosent have the second six posision lever. all the bantams i have seen in the past have had two levers on the gearbox this only has the one so dos this mene it dosent have a screw cutting gearbox.

enny help much apreciated

I think some of the Mk 1 Bantams intended for training colleges etc did not have a screwcutting box.

Have a read about the Mk 1 on the Lathes.co.uk site
