![]() 1285 forum posts 353 photos | hi, there are 3 sources... K.N. Harris's re-design published in ME, Don Young's re-design commisioned by Reeves who own the copyright, and Don Ashton's re-design published in Engineering In Miniature 2009. Don Ashton's re-design is far superior to the other 2. EIM should be able to provide you with a back issue. SPEEDY wouldnt be my choice for a first loco, with those piston valves and tapered boiler barrel and belpaire firebox, so good luck! cheers, julian Edited By julian atkins on 14/02/2013 22:37:05 |

27 forum posts 14 photos | They were included with the complete set of drawings bought from Reeves. I'm in the process of creating a 3D model of all this before I start because I want to add all of the holes to the frames in one setup and these aren't shown on the plans. Since I'll be using CNC for much of it, making things to precise dimensions makes sense, it will all fit without trial assemblies and spotting through. You should be aware that according to my model so far, there's insufficient room for the front brake hangers and shoes as drawn. |
