Hi Guys & Gals
I have purchased a Warco 1322 that is a 3ph version.
I only have a 1ph supply in my workshop so I need an Inverter.
The motor is a single voltage (440) 2HP version.
The lathe has a coolant sys and a light, and I will also fit a DRO soon.
I have read a few threads on the subject, and although I started reading full of confidence I have confused myself !!
Has anyone done this to a 1322 and could give me a steer please.
Cheers Chris

795 forum posts 34 photos | Chris.......i have recently converted my Warco 918 ( smaller than yours) to using a 3 phase motor and inverter. It has totally transformed the lathe's performance. I used a kit from Transwave and I am totally happy with their product and service. The conversion was quite easy .....full instructions supplied......and telephone adv ice if required. The most difficult part was making up an adaptor plate to fit the motor to the lathe...a couple of hours work.....but you won't even have that problem. I am sure there are other suppliers that are just as good but I speak as I find. Mick |
