Some years ago I acquired a multi-axis milling machine that i was told was a standard piec of kit in German U boats. I believe that Model Engineer published an article entitled "U Boat Technology" - or similar. Can anyone shed any further light on this topic?

Has anyone got the pull out plans from MEW issue 7 Oct/Nov 1991 relating to the 'simple lathe' similar to a watchmakers lathe, and if so, would you be happy to scan them and send me an e-mail of them? None of the digital issues have the pull out plans.

Thanks muchly

Cheers

Duncan

Sounds intruiging

Any chance of some pictures from various angles?

I bet there's a few ME folk who would consider making one

Duncan,

If nothing is forthcoming, you could always buy the Back Issue from MyHobbyStores (or take a look on ebay)
