5 forum posts | Hi, I'm helping a friend continue a 5"G "Netta" he inherited when his father passed away. I'm trying to redraw the paper templates in CAD but I'm unsure of the best way to make he top edges of the tender meet up. As you can see in this picture **LINK** the top corners flare out and are rolled.
Is there an easy way to draw these angles and get them cut precisely? |

![]() 1885 forum posts 111 photos | I'd model it in 3d and measure parts of the wireframe to get the edges. Which CAD system are you using and does it have sheet metal tools?
Martin. |
