Myford T Slot size and suitable cutter

9 forum posts	Hello; Can someone let me know out there what is the correct size of the myford T slot on the cross slide and vertical slide and also what is the correct cutter to use to replicate said T slots. I want to make a cross slide attachment to take my vertical slide. Thanks Ralph

9 forum posts	And 61 seconds reveals 2 different sizes qouted in other articles. So what I am after is the correct and complete dimensions not just width. Plus what is the suitable cutter.

3681 forum posts 70 photos	Proper T Slot cutters have a cutting face, top and bottom as well as periphery. You can use woodruff key cutters ( I have, for Myford sized slots), very carefully. Try also Sussex Tools, if not a stock item they can obtain from UK manufacturers.
