9 forum posts | Hello; Can someone let me know out there what is the correct size of the myford T slot on the cross slide and vertical slide and also what is the correct cutter to use to replicate said T slots. I want to make a cross slide attachment to take my vertical slide. Thanks Ralph

3681 forum posts 70 photos | Proper T Slot cutters have a cutting face, top and bottom as well as periphery. You can use woodruff key cutters ( I have, for Myford sized slots), very carefully. Try also Sussex Tools, if not a stock item they can obtain from UK manufacturers. |

Width : Basic slot 3/8 . Lower slot 5/8 . Height : Upper slot 7/32 . Lower slot 5/32 . All in inches . That would make it 3/8 sloting cutter first then 5/8 * 5/32 Woodruff cutter See Here Steve Larner |
