2 forum posts 1 photos | Hello, my name is Lars Lindqvist and I am new to this forum Some years ago I inherited my father’s workshop equipment consisting of, among other things, of a Myford Super 7 lathe with a lot of extras. Because of my work I have been living abroad in different countries during the last 20 odd years and have not been able to set up my own workshop. Now I have retired, I am living in Spain, and I have started to set up the workshop with my father’s equipment. My question is if someone knows where to buy things like tools and cutting oil here in Spain, preferably in the Madrid region. I am of course aware that a lot of these things can be bought by mail from the UK but for things like cutting oil, a source closer to home would be nice. Thanks in advance, Lars Lindqvist |

418 forum posts 4 photos | I assume Lars you have some knowledge of the Spanish language, in which case a visit here may help. This is a metalworking forum with many of the members coming from Madrid so I assume it is Spanish. You will of course need to join to gain the most benefit. I know of it as there are links on it to my web site resulting in frequent visits. You can of course, as I do, use Google translate for assistance with the language. Harold |

2 forum posts 1 photos | Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction. Yes, I do speak and read Spanish so I find the metal working website very interesting. It seemed to me that to get in at all you have to register so I will do that. The Las Delicias website about live steam interested me also, since one of the things my father left me was his "Columbia" 3 1/2 " scale locomotive with tender. Thanks again. Lars Lindqvist |
