I have broken off the back gear key lever on my Super 7. I can't see how the lever is retained so that I can remove it to make a new one. Any advice gratefully received. Please see photos.
How did it happen? Well, I was playing with the bicycle speed display and had wound the VFD up to 3000 rpm. There was a magnet taped to the chuck which was making it out of balance. I guess that the vibration plus the speed flung the lever from its home position and it hit the headstock casting. cheers, Rod |
