795 forum posts 34 photos | Has anyone any experience of using Viton balls in safety valves? I have used them very successfully in pumps and clacks and wonder whether the principle is transferable to safety valves. Gauge 1 is the scale I am working in. |

![]() 5 forum posts 5 photos | I never used viton balls in my safety valves and I'm not sure if this results because of the pressure that the spring exerts on the ball crushing it. I do not know if the ball does not get a crease damaging the ball. Instead of the balls I use a stainless steel cone with success.
