Thread: Safety Valves - Viton balls |
22/11/2011 23:00:22 |
I never used viton balls in my safety valves and I'm not sure if this results because of the pressure that the spring exerts on the ball crushing it. I do not know if the ball does not get a crease damaging the ball. Instead of the balls I use a stainless steel cone with success.

Thread: Live steam of Portugal |

Unfortunately, this sport in Portugal is not very practical, but I've tried to make the disclosure using the NET.
In Portugal we are a country of strong traditions railway using steam locomotives beautiful. Many of these locomotives were destroyed without regard to history. Fortunately they have turned a very interesting railway museum. Plese view my sites: http://vaporvivo.no.sapo.pt
It is written in Portuguese because I am no expert in English language. At the time I took my course industrial Prime Minister Salazar did not include the discipline of English so that technicians do not emigrate. It was a shame.
Yet I am subscriber of Model Engineer magazine Model Engineer Workshop and of which I have cut my valuable ideas for building on steam and machine tools. |
