It makes the content much more varied and lets a wider range of ideas and means that more authors get in print. I really enjoyed Ray's writing, but I did wish to see more variety from time to time. My heart sank a bit at the thought of TWO new locomotive series starting at the same time, but I lightened up a bit when I saw that not one, but both were not GWR tender locomotives!Indeed, both subjects were different enough to raise an eyebrow. Also I enjoyed Terence Holland's Yarrow Boiler series, so look forwards to some good 'coarse engineering' tips ![]() Of course, just to be contrary, we 'did' the Talyllyn the weekend before last, the staff were wonderfully helpful, I got some fun video and pictures, and now I'm pondering if I should make a narrow guage loco...
