Hi Guys,

I am trying to get some info on a milling machine.

It is badged as "EME Mentormill V0-"

I believe it may have been made by Elliot but not 100% sure.

I have done a search on google etc but not a lot comes up. Its not listed in the Elliot section on the "lathes.co.uk" site

Any Info would be appreciated.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, then this is the mill that Myford used to buy in and sell as the VMF (or is it B?), but it's also on sale badged by several other firms, although the designation VO-A2F is quite common amongst them. If you can find a good example, these look like useful mills, especially if you haven't got room for a Bridgeport. If it's this one that you're looking at - well, that looks remarkably like a VM.. to me!

Hi Steve,

That was THE only thing I found thats anything like my machine,

I have no photo's at the moment, but it looks a lot like the one in that link.

The head on mine is different though. its belt driven with the motor hung at the back.
There is no horizontal adjustable tube  mount either. the head is fixed in that plain.

Freddybear, it sounds like you and I have the same mill although mine is badged as Myford and about twent five years old. Warco sell a virtually identical machine (and cheaper new than I paid for mine secondhand) and with more bells and whistles. Other than that, the design doesn't look like it's changed much.
