![]() 1655 forum posts 617 photos | Hi all,
Does anyone know of a source of a small amount of straight stainless tubing. Specifically 1/8 or 10swg OD with an ID around 2.5 mm
An internet search has revealed a supplier in the UK and will ring them tomorrow but I have a distinct feeling they will not be wanting to sell in small amounts. I have five pieces about 8" long but need at least another four. To be exact I need eighteen pieces 75 mm long. Does anyone one have any surplus they would be willing to part with?
Failing all else it's out with the long series drills

I'll keep an eye on that but thats a lot of tubes to buy to get four if the price goes up. Anyone else have any ideas ? Thanks again though - Ramon |

I see from his 'other items' that he has a variety of sizes and individual pack sizes of rustless steel tube.
Although everything seems to be 'pre-packed'... it might still be worth a try. |

![]() 7468 forum posts 230 photos | Last time I was loking for stainless tube (3/16"), I was offered 2 days delivery time air feight from Austrailia, one box, 5000ft, I didn't ask any prices, I only wanted 3ft. Went back a week later, and some one had bought in 2 boxes, and I was able to get my bit. Most of the stainless tube that I use comes from telescopic radio aerials, its just a lottery finding the right size. Ian S C |

![]() 1655 forum posts 617 photos | Hi guys,
Thanks for the info. I did contact the seller on ebay and bid for some tubes of exactly the right diameter and bore. Absolutely straight and a high degree of finish.
I had to purchase the offer of course so have ended up with 35 pieces just short of 200mm long. I only need nine! for my project so if any one needs any please get in contact.
Thanks again to Alistair for suggesting it.
