41 forum posts | I am making a 4-way tool post for 8 mm tools. I am planning to use M6 screws to hold the tools. If I center the screws on the tools, that is 4 mm from the edge, I will have 1 mm of untouched material between the hole and the edge. I do not know, if that is enough.I could move the screws in from the edge but then they would then not be centered on the tools, do not know if that would be a good idea, or I could use M5 screws giving me 1.5 mm margin - or a combination of both.I would appreciate any advise.
