674 forum posts 357 photos	Hi Paul It uses an orbital valve, I tried taking a video of the valve action with the steam chest cover off but couldn't get the vocus correct. Basicaly what you have is two flats at the end of the crank these engauge with a slot on ta return crank which has an off centre drive pin that drives the orbital valve openening and closeing the valve ports.
