What is the best way to get hold of an article from ME 15th July and 19th August 1983 about wheel crossing by J Malcolm Wild?
Also an article about a One year Clock by W Botton to a Claude Reeve design put out as a Model Engineer series started 3rd Aug 1984?

371 forum posts | With regard to wheel crossing, you might want to stretch the budget a good deal by purchasing the very comprehensive hard-back book authored by J. Malcolm Wild himself entitled Wheel and Pinion Cutting in Horology (ISBN 1-86126-245-0)
Yes of course, it is a lot more expensive than a couple of back issues but then it contains far more information.

399 forum posts 167 photos | I have got the book by J Malcolm Wild, just looked it up and sure enough the info is just what I was looking for---thanks for prompting me! Ordered the ME back issues to look at the year clock so that is another one under way. Many thanks to the forum!
