I would like to introduce all to a video of my first test run that I did last night on my latest project

This engine seems to be running on compressed air. My Triple does not. What pressure are you using? Did you follow Stuart advices about timing compound engines? Nice work! Giovanni [email protected]

I noticed quite a difference when running my triple on air to steam. The ratio of the steam expansion is different to the air. I found on mine that the first cylinder on air was doing all the work when using air and that the relative timing of the three cylinders needed to be set different when steam is used.

Well done.Lot of satisfaction - and relief too!!!
 
And also thanks for illustrating the method, because I ran my little traction engine on air for the first time last week, and I didn't know how to put the video up.
