Hi this is not strictly a beginners question but I cant find anywhere else to put it, I'm looking for a supplier of chain in plain mild steel or similar but not M.K metals, The size range is about 8 links/inch to 3/inch, can anyone help?
Thanks

Alan at MJ Engineering does a chain thats about 3 1/4 links per inch for use as steering chain on teh 2" engines, £8.70 per meter. If you are using it for steering then the links should be silver soldered as they can open over time.

Live Steam Models advertise chain in 3" and 4" scale. They don't give any other details in their catalogue
