102 forum posts | I’ve painted my model with the 3 recommenced coats of Humbrol Clear, leaving over 30 minutes between each coat. It doesn’t say on the instructions but how long will it take for the varnish to cure so I can apply my waterslide decals? Edit: it’s an acrylic varnish. ![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | This is what Humbrol say: Enamels: Gloss: 1-2 hours. Matt & Satin: 20-40 mins touch dry, up to 24 hours for hard dry. Metallics: hard dry in approx. 10 days. Recoat: 6 hours minimum.
