Hello again everyone - I need your help again please!

I am trying to source a 13.5mm OD washer. Spalding don’t have them - can anyone suggest an imperial equivalent please?

It needs to fit snugly into a tube.

many thanks

Margaret

Hi Margaret, washer sizes are normally designated by their ID and I doubt you'll find any advertised as 13.5mm, if you mean ID, then a 1/2" one might be about the right size, but you may just have to file it to fit.

Regards Nick.

Thanks Nick.

I think we may end up turning one from a piece of brass.

M6 Form C Washers [BS 4320] have an OD of 14mm. You could easily spin one of these in a drill chuck against abrasive paper to get it down to the required OD.

You don't say what ID you need, however.

Thanks Bill. That’s a good suggestion.

ID doesn’t matter really.

many thanks

Margaret

Hi Margaret,

Can you tell us what you are constructing/repairing/fabricating?

It makes life so much easier all around.

If it's secret, then I will respect that.
