Hi All,

I'm a hobby engineer with a interest in anything old and mechanical. Was a miniature steam enthusiast as a boy and now I'm looking into the possibility of a build of my own... when I have finished my other 126 started but not compete projects

Welcome to the club!

Lots of us like you, with "Tommorow projects.

If you need advice or help, someone will have an answer to your question, even if some of the suggestions are a bit "Off the wall" or "Worked for me"

Enjoy the hobby and the good company on here.

Howard

Welcome to the forum Rob. Have a go at making a simple wobbler steem engine as you still have to get used to machining on the lathe milling and tolerances etc. I started one a while ago which by adding a boiler firstly then a small generator had to have a lamp post to light.
