Myford lathe power cross feed

Is the thread the same on power cross feed lead screw on a Myford Super 7 lathes, on both a Metric and and Imperial lathes. Alternatively will the same lead screw fit either Metric or Imp ? John

crosswise screws are 10 tpi for imp and 2mm pitch for metric and I think you will find that the lead screws are all imp.

AFAIK the only difference between imperial and metric S7 is the crossslide and topslide screw pitches. which as Bernard says are both 2mm pitch. The Xfeed dial is marked in mm off diameter however, i.e. t turn is 4mm. The leadscrew is 8 tpi in both but (un)helpfully the handwheel is calibrated in metric! i.e. 3.175mm full turn.
