5 forum posts | Hello, I am planning to purchase my first CNC milling machine, I came across a Golmatic MD24 machine for sale (used). I wonder if someone can say something about this machine? I know the machine is made in Germany and there are only very few reviews of this machine, which I found in German forums. Any advice/opinion will be appreciated, thank you! |

I am looking for reviews written by people who actually used the machine and can note the pros and cons. The machine is not cheap, to say the least (even for used one), so I would like to make my research and decide whether it worth the money. |

331 forum posts 156 photos | The agent in the UK for Golmatic was (is?) Brian Tate of Pro-Machine Tools fame. I get the impression that he is winding down the business but may still respond to his facebook page. If you can find him, he might be able to give you some opinions about Golmatic. I can say for what its worth, I did make a cursory examination of one of these products 20 years ago and thought it look a decent bit of kit, albeit rather too pricey for me at the time. But what I knew about machine tools then would have fitted on the back of a postage stamp, so don't give this comment too much weight. Gerry |

![]() 212 forum posts 16 photos | I was interested to see that Golmatic made a CNC machine. I only ever knew them for their universal machine that was in the same market as the Meyer Burger UW1. (I bought the latter) This is a spec sheet of the MD24 : **LINK** Matt |
