![]() 6 forum posts 2 photos | Hi everyone! I've only just discovered this Forum after getting sent a link to it on a well regarded welding forum and must say, I wish I'd found it sooner. I'm a retired Aerospace engineer with a fairly well equipped and sizeable shed at the end of my garden, inside which, all sorts of tinkering goes on. From repairing the 3 year old granddaughters washing machine to restoring and maintaining our (very) small collection of vintage and classic cars. I'm looking forward to getting involved, mainly on the machining side, and picking up a few tips here and there. Indeed, the link to here came as a result of my seeking more information on a small milling machine I recently acquired so I expect my next post will be on that very subject Hope all are well! Richard.

![]() 6 forum posts 2 photos | Hi and thanks for the warm welcome! I'm in Calne, North Wiltshire. After the granddaughter had finished her washing... She then did a bit of sweeping up.. (Hmm, I'd tried to add a couple of pictures here but they made the message too long, what did I do wrong?) As for the small milling machine I mentioned, it's an EMCO FB2 clone that I've been gifted but it does need a good clean and service and to that end I am after a manual for it if anyone has one they'd be willing to share. I've recommissioned a couple of machines recently, the last one being a pretty old Denbigh bench drill (I'll dig out some pics if anyone is interested) and am keen to do more. The next will hopefully be more of a restoration of my Harrison L5, desperately needs it too! It'll no doubt take me a while to find my way around here but hope to be able to help out where I can. Regards, Richard. Edited By Richard Downing on 28/02/2023 11:48:07 Edited By Richard Downing on 28/02/2023 11:48:28 |
