865 forum posts 12 photos | Apparently eBay have been doing this for all sales within Canada for 6 months I just discovered. This pretty much covers it. As far as I can tell, they only tax purchases that are wholly (buyer and seller) within Canada. Purchasing from a seller outside the country doesn't attract tax.
