2308 forum posts 33 photos | For those who have no plans for today The industrial steam museum at Forncett 11 miles south of |Norwich has one of it's monthly steam ups, today is also a BRING YOUR MAMOD day, this has been streched to include all small steam machines, I'm taking a wilesco road roller"Okd Smoky". To see the huge ( as big as my house) dover engine a triple expansion engine in steam is a sight to behold ! If your into steam it's worth a visit, and the refreshment area overlooks a large beam engine. Noel/ |

334 forum posts 1 photos | I visited Forncett a couple of weeks ago and was given a tour by Dr. Rowan Francis even though it wasn't a Steaming Day. It's well worth visiting even though it's in the Back of Beyond. The Norfolk Tank Museum is only a mile down the road. MC
