For those who have no plans for today The industrial steam museum at Forncett 11 miles south of |Norwich has one of it's monthly steam ups, today is also a BRING YOUR MAMOD day, this has been streched to include all small steam machines, I'm taking a wilesco road roller"Okd Smoky". To see the huge ( as big as my house) dover engine a triple expansion engine in steam is a sight to behold ! If your into steam it's worth a visit, and the refreshment area overlooks a large beam engine. Noel/

I won't be visiting today as I am duty tug pilot this afternoon. However I expect to be exhibiting there at the Model Engineers Day on Sunday the 2nd of October.

Always worth a visit, especially on steam days where the list of engine types running on steam is impressive to say the least.

I visited Forncett a couple of weeks ago and was given a tour by Dr. Rowan Francis even though it wasn't a Steaming Day.

It's well worth visiting even though it's in the Back of Beyond.

The Norfolk Tank Museum is only a mile down the road.
