I bought these castings as part of a workshop clearance, can anyone tell me what make or foundry produced them and the make of the Traction Engine. Also could anyone suggest a value of the castings as I would like to sell them. Any help would be much appreciated.sdc10165.jpgsdc10162.jpgsdc10161.jpgsdc10160.jpg

Look like they are for the Durham & North Yorks traction engine. Blackgates sell the castings, my printed pricelist is quite out of date now but if you e-mail them they should be able to send prices until their catalogue is up on the site.

There's currently a Durham T.E part finished for sale on the Station Road Steam website under projects, a lot more done but might give a hint to value. Looking at the engine on there it looks like Jason is correct in his identification.

Hi Bill, it's definitely Durham & North Yorkshire castings as I have just finished building mine this year.
