![]() 910 forum posts 303 photos | I'd guess they sold them to third parties and possibly used them themselves for testing tooling machined with a female morse taper socket, drill machine spindles, tail stock quills. Or maybe machine rebuilders who would test a morse socket after removal of burrs with an internal grinder? |

1081 forum posts 39 photos | J&S internal morse taper gauges, the ring on the taper would indicate the correct dimensions when level with the front face of the taper. |
