![]() 1129 forum posts 1 photos | Hi All, Here is an unusual clamping type tool by FOOTPRINT, uses leather washers at the pivot so cannot clamp very tightly, jaw seem able two grip in two directions. Cannot find it in their catalogues? Or is it a part of something else perhaps? Any thoughts please? Cheers, Martin

![]() 3988 forum posts 1799 photos | Hi Martin, the shape of the jaws suggests either squares or rounds, but squares would be limited to many applications, although it probably could be used for some jobs, but pipe / tube was my first instinctive thought and that's what I looked for in my B&H catalogue. My father was a good friend of the Colliers who owned Monument tools and did electrical and building work for them, I've been in the factory a few times when they were based in Balham |
