![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | SMEE has just sent me this report from the Federation of Model Engineering Societies of two stolen locos and other equipment. A 5" 2.6.2 GWR Prairie Tank loco finished in GW green livery has been stolen. The boiler number is N77-100-G25. (North Staffs ref. N9.273) with the current Boiler certificate C224452, and written scheme number WS016385. Along with the loco there was a coal truck acting as tender. Also taken was a 5" gauge two car Battery Electric set 5" gauge Loco with blue and silver livery, together with tools and equipment. They were in a Ford transit van parked in the drive of the owner’s house.. Please watch out for these items on social media and web sales sites, and if seen please report in the first instance to the Police (crime number 21210120462) and then pass details on to the FMES Secretary, contact details: Peter Squire, Honorary Secretary, Federation of Model Engineering Societies Tel: 01327-342167 |
